Phở Viet is consistently praised for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine, notably its flavorful pho and well-crafted banh mi sandwiches. Reviewers highlight the restaurant’s rich, savory broths and a diverse menu that includes spring rolls, noodle bowls, and stir-fry dishes, appealing to a wide range of tastes. The food quality is described as fresh and satisfying, with particular appreciation for the toasted bread and distinct pâté in their sandwiches. While portion sizes of meat in pho are sometimes considered light, the overall flavor profile receives positive recognition. The establishment is noted for its clean environment and friendly, attentive service staff, contributing to a welcoming dining experience. Despite occasional busy periods, efficient ordering options like phone-in takeout accommodate customer needs. Phở Viet’s location amidst a vibrant Vietnamese business strip adds to its authentic charm, making it a favored spot for both dine-in and takeout within the local community.

This place distribute their Banh mi sandwiches and pork rolls to a few places in the area. Personally I like here way more than BL. Love their hot food as well. Don’t have a specific dish to recommend but definitely worth a visit, they also take orders by phone as some days it’s just too busy

Been here a few times, always good. This time I got BBQ chicken spring rolls and beef Pho with rare steak. My friend got spicy soup. Everything was delicious. Even took some food home to go.

A gem in a little strip mall full of Vietnamese businesses. This place is a legit pho shop that has a broad range of dishes including bahn mi, egg noodles soups, noodle bowls, and stir fry options. I came for the pho and cha gio. Pho: soup had excellent flavor; deep rich umami beef broth with just the right amount of saltiness. No shortcuts here. Amount of meat you get is a little light so order extra for $2 if you’d like. Cha gio: nice and crispy, not oily. Great flavor, tasted like you were having it at a bbq or your Viet friends mom made them. This is a mom and pop place with a lot of Vietnamese customers. I closed my eyes and the sounds and smells transported me to another place…. but not as humid. They also sell some home made foods there. If you are new to Viet cuisine try the near by Pho Ha Saigon a bit more newbie friendly. Then come back here and try it out!

Pho was a bit sweet for my liking, but good otherwise. Bahn mi was great, bread toasted and the pate stand outs. Friendly service and well cleaned environment.

First time trying out this place. It was an awesome experience. The noodle soup was perfect and my spring rolls were delicious. I also had iced coffee and it hit the spot. The server and the rest of the people here were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back, soon I Hope..

Let me say: I only really review by the dish as it's hard to find a place where everything is good. That said I came here because I was craving goi ngo sen which is a type of Vietnamese salad, made with pickled veg(like from banh mi), pickled lotus root, boiled shrimp and pork belly, with herbs and aromatics that you scoop up with fried shrimp crackers. This is not for anyone with shrimp or peanut allergies. I got that and banh cuon, Vietnamese rice rolls bc I couldn't help myself when I saw it on the menu. The rice rolls are okay, nam phuong, my favorite restaurant gets an 8/10 from me for those and they get a 6.5/10 for that dish, not because it's bad, but just lacking and their fish sauce isn't as good. However, if you are too lazy to make the trip to South Philly and don't want to park in that terribly busy lot, it is worth it if you're craving it. The goi ngo sen really hit the spot. I devoured that plate and I will come back for more, provided their quality is consistent. I could be wrong, but I think they used freshly fried shallot oil, which made it so much better. The shallots were slightly soggy, unlike the premade dried stuff which is dehydrated and then fried. You could taste the shallot flavored oil subtly throughout the dish. Meat and shrimp were fresh (the day of), it wasn't just sitting around from the other day. Vegetables weren't overly pickled (too sweet or too sour, right thickness to absorb the pickling well). I definitely will be back.

A diamond in the rough! Extremely flavorful broth packed with noodles and many choices of meat. The banh mi is exceptional, too. This is the place that locals get their pho and it shows.
